Saturday evening, Antipodes association and other guests meet in Tatiana Burmistrova’s salon for spontaneous, improvisational, plotless poetic action without words, with participation of Fedor Sofronov (Moscow) and Tatiana Bonch-Osmolovskaya (Sydney) but not controlled by them.
The idea of the evening belongs to Moscow artist Vladimir Smolyar. The aim was to overcome the inner and outer boundaries by sensual deformation of the continuum.
In Moscow, one spring morning, a group of people met for their coffee and tango dancing by ancient gramophone.
In Sydney, one autumn evening, a group of people dressed in a style from 30-50s met to dance tango.
They see each other through the ocean, chat and sing for each other.
In Moscow composer Fedor Sofronov talks about history of tango and puts records to old gramophone.
In Sydney, singer Mariana Batkhan performs tango.
Spring and autumn, morning and evening, man and woman, everything by the beats of tango.
Tango forever!
