On 17th of July we met in Ampersand Cafe Bookstore to read our writing: poems, short stories, translations.
Alexander Popov read a short story «Tundra as noumenon», Alex Erenbourg - several versions for translation of Shakespeare's sonnet, Tatiana Bonch-Osmolovskaya read a translation of Igor Sid poem and told a story about Laperouse adventures, Natalia Crofts read a poem devoted to Yury Levitansky, Yakov Smagarinsky - a comic short story on a reform of cloth washing in Australia, and David Wansbrough showed his pictures on Australian animals. The discussion lasts to the cafe closing time!
